In August 2024, Adam’s mum Beverley under took the challenge of shaving her long hair off in memory of her beautiful boy, Adam, to raise funds for The Adam Barry Foundation.



Here are some pics of the buzzcut itself. 

It was emotional as you would expect, but we think Bev looks amazing and is rocking the new hairstyle 💖 🤟 There is also a picture showing Adam when he was younger, and Bev, side by side, with their buzzcutts, this was the inspiration for the challenge. 



The long strands of hair shaved off has been donated to The Little Princess Trust, who use it to make real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost there own hair through cancer treatment and other conditions. 💝 

Bev words after completing the challenge: “ As I am sure all of you can imagine, our hearts were shattered into a million pieces the day Adam was killed, and we honestly didn’t think we could ever go on without him.

I was initially hoping to raise £500, but on seeing the total now of £2,270 I am truly staggered, and I really cannot thank everyone enough for their continued love, help and generosity in support of The Adam Barry Foundation

Giving back, helping others, learning more about ways we can make a difference is truly what keeps us going. All of your input builds new pathways for our Foundation and ultimately gives Adam his much-deserved continued connection, not only to us, his parents and family, but also the people his legacy will help in “putting smiles back on faces in memory of or beautiful boy, Adam”
